Customer Account Representative for new and existing clients

To generate IT sales and business, develop relationships with new clients, make sales visits and presentation, maintain current knowledge of all products and services and to meet given sales goals.

This position requires 2 – 3 years of experience either in Sales or the IT Field.

A Customer Account Rep must have the ability to:

  • Identify and react accurately to the behavior and emotions of customers
  • Identify other people’s feelings/frustrations objectively without necessarily agreeing with them
  • Be able to establish rapport easily and put people “at ease” in your presence
  • Must possess good listening skills
  • Must ask questions that require more than a “yes or no” answer
  • Must be “Goal Oriented”

    I like that you are very knowledgeable and your employees are professional and courteous. I think that is one of the key things if they handle themselves professionally and are courteous which is not easy in the environment they have to work. Many of the people they come in contact with are frustrated and want to blame all technical things on IT even if it’s not really an IT issue. If they remain calm and explain the situation, it will usually ease the frustration of the customer.

    I also like if they don’t know the answer they don’t act like they do, they let you know that they will research the situation and get back with us.
